Report
Dordrecht, 2 July, 2005 - On this Saturday evening motor test CMT0504 was performed. It is an follow-up to find the optimal throat on earlier tests, like CMT0410 on 12 December, 2004, CMT0501 on 13 February, 2005 and CMT0502 and CMT0503 on 21 and 22 April, 2005 at NLD21. The throat was 12.5mm this time.
The test itself started well, but after 2 seconds a second throat was opened at the upper part of the motor. This is where the igniter is placed. This igniter is a hollow bolt, which in the last 15 years never failed us. The test has to be done again, which we hope to do before NLD22, so we can do a static motor test at NLD22 with a flight motor.
