Dordrecht, 25 November, 2001 - For the first time in five years the NAVRO has held a motor test. This test is the first in a series of tests, to find a faster burning mixture of our Kalinitrox composite propellant. The first test (CMT0101) of four small test motors today, was a good test. The second (CMT0102) however blew out the back of the test motor casing. The casing was damaged beyond repair, so the tests ended unfortunately. When we checked the remains, we found that the Philips head screws, which secured the back closure, were to weak. Next time we will use slotted screws instead.
